For a nominal fee, our dedicated team of drivers will swing by your doorstep, pick up your charity shop bag, and deliver them directly to the local charity shop of your choice, so you get to choose the charity you want to support!

This service is for one bag or box of items.  Basically a dustbin liner size or dimensions 60cm x 50cm x 70cm and must wheigh less than 50kg.

Our Charity shops accept a wide variety of items to support their fundraising efforts for charitable causes. Items should be in good, usable condition. Here's a summary of the types of items charity shops accept and the condition they should be in:

1. Clothing and Accessories: Gently worn, clean, and free from major stains, tears, or damage. This includes clothing, shoes, bags, belts, hats, and scarves.
2. Books: Books in good condition, with intact covers and minimal writing or highlighting. Textbooks and reference materials are often accepted if they are up-to-date.
3. Housewares: Items like kitchenware, glassware, ceramics, and small appliances. These should be clean, unbroken, and functional.
4. Electronics: Functional electronics like small kitchen appliances, lamps, radios, and working small electronic devices. However, policies on accepting electronics can vary due to safety concerns.
5. Toys and Games: Clean, complete toys and games in good condition with all necessary pieces. Electronic toys should have working batteries.
6. Home Decor: Items like artwork, picture frames, decorative vases, and ornaments. These should be in good condition with no significant damage.
7. Jewellery: Clean and wearable jewellery, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings.
8. Music and Movies: CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and cassette tapes in good condition and with original covers.
9. Sporting Goods: Clean and functional sports equipment, such as bicycles, tennis rackets, and golf clubs.
10. Baby Items: Clean and safe baby clothes, strollers, car seats (within expiration date), cribs (meeting safety standards), and other baby gear.

Items that are not accepted due to safety, hygiene, or regulatory reasons include:

1. Mattresses and upholstered furniture: These can be difficult to clean and may pose health risks.
2. Helmets: For safety reasons, charity shops may not accept used helmets.
3. Car seats: Due to safety regulations and potential expiration dates, many charity shops do not accept used car seats.
4. Large appliances: Items like refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines are often not accepted due to space limitations and potential electrical safety concerns.
5. Broken or hazardous items: Items that are unsafe to use or have missing parts are generally not accepted.
6. Items that require professional installation: Charity shops usually don't accept items like gas appliances that require special installation.
7. Linens: Stained bedding, towels, tablecloths, and curtains.
