A complex yet approachable 2014 vintage red wine from the Spanish premier wine region of Rioja, crafted by the leading winery Campo Viejo. This wine is best enjoyed with game, lamb stew with chestnut sauce, vegetable tagine, ratatouille, chocolate pudding or a Sunday Roast. It makes a great gift and is the perfect addition to any special occasion. Best served at 15 -18˚C.
The grapes in this wine are fermented at a controlled temperature of around 28ºC. Maceration with skins takes place for approximately 20 days to deliver the colour of the wine. Campo Viejo Gran Reserva has been aged for a total of 5 years; at least two of them in oak casks to produce a red wine that has been aged to perfection.

Vinification: Grapes are fermented in at a controlled temperature of around 28ºC. Maceration with skins for approximately 20 days to deliver the colour of the wine. The wine then spends 24 months in French and American oak casks and is rounded off for 36 months in the bottle cellar.
